Although men tend to dominate the world of professional poker, there is no shortage of world-class female players. Although every past champion of the World Series of Poker Main Event is male, experts are confident a female will dominate the field in the not too distant future. Here is a list of the top female poker players in 2019.

Annie Duke

Duke is well-known as a high-stakes, cash game player. Her brother is Howard Lederer, another famous name in poker circles. She has built her fortune from a strong tournament record and writing several books on how to play poker. With a net worth north of $9 million, Duke is the 2010 Tournament of Champions winner and the 2010 National Heads-Up champion.

Vanessa Rousso

Rousso has more than $6.5 million in winnings and is a formidable player in high-stakes, cash games. She has also built a reputation as one of the top online female players in the world. From 2007-2015, she was a member of the PokerStars.net professional team, and she has made numerous television appearances. She is also a writer for American Poker Player.

Jennifer Harman

Harman is well-known for playing in some of the biggest cash games in Vegas. The winner of two World Series of Poker bracelets, Harman has over $15 million in poker earnings. She is a regular on Poker After Dark and a fixture at the WSOP main event. In 2015, she was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame.

Kathy Liebert

Liebert is a regular at the World Series of Poker who has amassed over $6 million in poker earnings. In 1997, she made the WSOP final table. In 2002, Liebert won the Party Poker Million, which earned her a cool $1 million in prize money. She also has four cashes worth more than a quarter million at the WSOP.

Liv Boeree

As a student of the legendary “poker brat” Phil Hellmuth, Boeree is one the youngest, yet most successful, female poker players in the world. She has several cashes at the WSOP main event with two top 20 finishes. Boeree has nearly $4 million in winnings, and she is one of the most active poker players in the world.

Maria Ho

Ho has over $4 million in poker winnings with 54 cashes in WSOP events. Ho also has five World Poker Tour final table appearances. She is also a highly-regarded poker broadcaster and worked as a strategic commentator for several poker tours.
